The Drearback Seether is a powerful semi-aquatic predator resembling an amalgamation of a deep-sea fish and a heavily muscled land carnivore. Its body is covered in a slick, translucent dermal layer through which its thick blue-black musculature can be seen pulsing beneath the surface.
 

Its face is dominated by sensory tendrils and several rows of interlocking teeth. These teeth are adapted both for tearing through flesh and preventing captured prey from escaping its jaws.

The Seether’s muscular legs are built for short bursts of terrifying speed. Its webbed feet end in hooked talons, allowing it to sprint across muddy flats, maintain traction on unstable ground and launch suddenly from shallow water.

Twin dorsal fins and a thick, sinuous tail give the creature exceptional manoeuvrability beneath the surface. It uses this agility to approach unseen and lunge upward from below with remarkable precision.
